MAIN PANEL

  • The Main Panel is the most important substantive body of the project. Its decisions are of strategic importance to the performance of the entire project.
  • The Main Panel is comprised of renown substantive experts in the areas covered by the Foresight Programme, experts in social and economic areas and representatives of the potential beneficiaries and users of Foresight – representatives of the industry, politics, media.
  • The basic tasks of the Main Panel include:
    • Development of a preliminary version of the development vision of Poland until year 2020, with a particular focus on the development of the scientific and research sector and its ties to the economy;
    • Substantive supervision over the entire project;
    • Laying out of substantive guidelines for the work of the Research Area Panels.
  • The Chairman of the Main Panel is professor Michał Kleiber, President of the Polish Academy of Sciences, and his deputy is professor Janina Jóźwiak , Director of the Institute of Statistics and Demography, Warsaw School of Economics.
  • Other persons comprising the Main Panel include:
